The Children’s Tumor Foundation Conference was held in Scottsdale Arizona, this year. Fairmont Scottsdale Princess set a new standard for conferences. There was mini-golf, roller skating, and best of all, sushi at the poster session! The Francis Collins Scholars, including Nicole Brossier, MD, PhD, had a great time socializing with so many people passionate about NF1 research! She also presented interim results showing the effect of maternal high-fat diet exposure on the NF1 optic pathway glioma cell of origin and tumor penetrance.
